MRS. BIRGIT NEHER
FOUNDER & CEO
Birgit brings 25 years of financial management and nonprofit operations experience to her role as founder of Brine Academy.
She holds an MBA in Operations Research and Statistics from Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and began her career providing executive support and business planning at MCG Consulting Group in Germany.
Since relocating to Hawaii in 2006, she has successfully owned and operated Pool Guard Hawaii LLC while managing all financial operations and business oversight activities. In 2019, she founded PETFIX Spay & Neuter, a thriving 501(c)(3) nonprofit that performed over 3,400 procedures in 2025 alone to date. As Treasurer, she oversees grant acquisition, volunteer coordination, marketing, and complete operational management.
